Origin Story
Prodigy didn’t begin with a business plan—it began with a problem to solve and a commitment to doing better. Long before “managed services” was a buzzword, John Slavik was the person companies called when they didn’t know where else to turn. Whether it was a server meltdown, a mystery network outage, or simply a team struggling with unreliable tech, John was the one who showed up—not just to fix things, but to explain, to listen, and to make it right.

With a background in hands-on IT support and an instinct for service, John quietly built a reputation as someone who treated small businesses like big priorities. Over the years, as the needs of those businesses evolved, so did his vision. It became clear that what clients really needed wasn’t just a technician—but a true partner who understood their challenges, respected their budget, and could grow alongside them.
When Annette Slavik stepped into the business, that vision became a reality. With her focus on leadership, culture, and client experience, she helped formalize what had always set Prodigy apart: clear communication, long-term thinking, and a people-first approach to IT. Together, John and Annette transformed Prodigy from a trusted one-man shop into a full-service Managed Service Provider—rooted in values and built for growth.
Today, Prodigy Complete IT Solutions supports clients across industries including construction, education, nonprofit, legal, and more—all from right here in the Tampa Bay area.
